Half throttle
I have a cushman shuttle cart 2x. When I give it full throttle it bogs completely
Down almost cuts off I have to run it at half throttle. |

I think stovebolt is on to something with running out of fuel. Stepping on the pedal opens the throttle plate, and lets more air flow through. It's supposed to pull more fuel with it too.
Why is it running low on fuel? Possible reasons. Clogged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, gas cap not venting, dirty carburetor, low float level, and finally.....valves out of adjustment. |

I had this to happen and the driven clutch was froze up causing the rev limiter to cut the engine off. It acted just like it was fuel related. Jack the rear up and open it up wide open while watching rear clutch.

Might not be getting enough air too, I'd pull and check the air filter plus look for obstructions in the entire air intake system (wasp-mouse nests etc). Then leave it out and fire it up to see if it makes a difference and go from there
