Flooded golf cart
I have a 1999 ez go that got flooded in my shed. The water and mud went over the seat. I cleaned it good. Drained all the oil and gas and refilled them. The golf cart runs but will not move. I am not a mechanic by all means, so I don't know what else to do.

Re: Flooded golf cart
How long did the cart stay wet? Salt water or fresh?
As stated the clutches are probably stuck. I would also make sure the shift cable is moving the shifter at the rear end. You will also want to make sure there is no water in the rear end. I would also take a look at the brakes to make sure they are not locked up, and work. Take the belt off and run engine, RPM's up and down, watch to see if the drive (front) clutch is sliding in and out. Good luck, I thing you will have some other issues to work thru. |
