Marathon vs. Medalist/TXT dimensions

I recently acquired an 86 marathon 2 stroke. Minus some brake issues, everything mechanical is great for it's age. What it needs is the bag/basket assembly that sits above the rear access panel. Would a medalist/txt assembly fit a marathon cart?

Dabble Inn

The bag cradle on my 85 Marathon had been cut off flush at the roof supports many years ago, I ended up using a new plastic cradle from either a Club car or Yamaha.... Oooops, It may have been a universal one I just don't remember.


EDIT;
I made new mounts by extending the stock square tubing, It's 1" OS so I used 3/4" OS which slipped nicely inside of it, Then held them in place with pins in case I ever want to quickly remove the cradle again. Coincidentally, the distance from mount to mount was right on. Don't know what to tell ya about a basket unless you can find one off another junk buggy

Dabble, yes please on the pics. My back up plan is to take the back of an '80 marathon and weld it to the seat supports. It doesn't match up perfectly, but at least it would be functional.

Some of my memory is returning lol, Look for a cradle that excepts dual 1" tubing. I also notched out and slipped a short piece of 1" tubing at a 90* over the end of the 3/4" to fit and fill the opening properly in the cradle''''

You'll also have to notch out the sides of the 3/4" so as it'll slip into and clear the bolt at the stock 1" tubing
