Default Love my 92 GXT Workhorse

I acquired my '92 Workhorse from my late Grandfather years ago. He bought it used somewhere in the late '90s and used it to haul firewood around with.

That's what I use it for now. I've had way too much wood stacked in the back of this thing and it crawled right out of the woods like a champ. It needs shocks, springs?, brakes, and a few other things I'm sure. It has the 295cc gasoline engine.

Was/is there an option to hinge the seat somehow without lifting it out?

I'd like to raise it up just a tiny bit for clearance, but don't want to spend the money, really. I've been reading about some of you swapping in air shocks and need to learn more about that option. Maybe some taller tires would do the trick.

It came with a roof and windshield, but I can't imagine ever needing it. Is there any interest in that whole assembly? I may craigslist it to get it out of the basement.

Sorry for the rambling. I just love this thing.

Mine is a few years newer - but the seat thing drives me crazy. I've debated fabbing up a prop.

Sweet, love them GXTs with the diamond plate and that looks like a nice one. Have you done anything to it yet? Sure would be worth spending some money on, a lift some 22" tires and you would fall in love all over again..
