Default Anyone know the stock battery specs?

I got my cart with a non stock battery that is dead. Just looking to replace it with something that will work and not break the bank. I've also added led lights and a radio if that makes a difference. Thanks

You will want to let people know the cart year, make and model and then perhaps someone with knowledge of your specific cart can advise you.

Pretty much any 12v battery will work fine. If the cart sits long periods of time without being run, a deep cycle battery may be a good idea. If you use it every day a $30 lawnmower battery works perfectly fine

I think group 26 is stock but like said before anything will suffice I just like the hold down with a stock battery

The stock EZGO battery is indeed a 26 "Z" terminal (according to my supplier, Crown, anyway). That way it's got the terminals that take the through bolt and will fit the space and the hold down. The Cranking amps are almost irrelevant - any automotive starting battery (including the 26z) will be over 400 cranking amps, but I've seen some EZGO's that people have run for years on a 190 CCA lawn mower battery. UT1's won't fit the holder, but people strap them down with bungie cords or whatever.

Thanks, that's all the info I think I need. I guess I'll be getting a group 26 deep cycle.
You guys on here rock! Always with the great info and fast too!

Maybe a solar trickle charger mounted on the roof could
resolve the long term sitting idle situation.
I use one one my cart for the 12 volt accessories circuits.

Good idea if you leave it parked outside. Wouldn't work here, all of my stuff stays inside when not being used. That's my rule. If I can't fit it inside, I can't buy it. Have to sell something to make room, otherwise I'd have a yard full of toys and projects in various stages. My wife keeps me in check lol

Plus things go to pot much too quickly when they live outside, especially in the southern sun
