Wow thanks for the great info. I think this can work! Now I just need to find these type of parts. Anyone have any ideas where to find these or similar parts that would fit the Vegas Cart carb and air filter?

Call VC and send them the pictures. I don't think your new clutch is all the way on. Mine went all the way to the shoulder on the engine shaft. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.

This is my solution to get the filter away from the dirty rear fender. Aluminum carb adapter for a clamp on filter, silicone reducer elbow 2.5"-2.0", 1.5" pvc street elbow (2.0" od), pvc elbows and extension pipe, 2" id rubber coupler, air filter for Kawasaki v-twin engine with 2" od hard plastic outlet. Various brackets bolted to unused engine threaded points. Mounted a computer fan under the shifter handle to push cool, fresh air into the engine compartment.

Still need to plumb the PCV hose into the intake. And I may switch to a steel mandrel bent pipe in lieu of the PVC pipe and fittings.
