Starter keeps running
2009 EZGO ST 2+2 gas
When cart is running and the pedal is released the motor will stop but the starter will keep running about half the time.It will run a few seconds and quit.Any ideas would be appreciated |

I had this happen on my 1990 Marathon w/PG3 2 stroke.. It was the starter solenoid. Internal contacts were sticking together(closed circuit). Installed a new one and all is good.

I disconnected the solenoid and checked for continuity thru it before I changed it
