how do i tell the year
im looking at a gas ez go and the guy sez its an 84 or a 94 he dont know. looking at it the engine looks just like my buddys 02 but the body has a black band on the front a nd what should i look for

Look for an ID tag in the passenger side glovebox. The last 2 digits of the Manufacture Code are the year it was made.

Sounds like from your brief description that it is a Medalist (94). Please take no assumption! Get the model and serial numbers and post here....

ok i picked up the cart tonight the vin is 755328 and the model is g2693 when it starts it kinda revs then jerks but runs great is there an adjustment on the clutch or ?

It may have the I.D. no. on the dash and if so the first two numbers represent the year. This is true on my club car. The engine would be for another to answer. Good Luck

On the dash of the cart look for a series of numbers. May be just to right of steering wheel . On my club car this number represents the I.D. and the first two numbers are the year of said cart. Hope this helps you as I am not sure if all makes put in same spot. Good Luck
