I just bought a 2008 txt. Seems to be pretty cherry to me. Can’t wait to do some modding for convenience

Good buy. Got to love these Robbin engines. I see yours is the MCI. Last year Ezgo installed these. This cart is worth what you put in it. Good luck

Please enlighten me what is so special about MCI, I’m new to golf carts but not wrenching I’m an oil field mechanic the last 19 years.

Not necessarily good or bad, but there are some differences in the engines that dictates differences in replacement parts. To identify, the pre-MCI have a separate exhaust manifold that can be unbolted. The MCI exhaust pipe bolts directly to the head because the head and exhaust manifold are cast as one part.

The Robins engines are very durable and smooth if you take care of them.
