Default Picking this up from Craigslist, wise idea?

Another "is this worth it" thread by me. I'm somewhat new to carts but have a good understanding of motors and repair. I've emailed the guy and he's holding it for me. Is it worth it?

The link was "hidden" in the word "this."
Looks like crap BUT as long as it has a motor I can fix it up right?

Some parts for those are no longer available (may have to find used parts if needed)and the value of them is really low or no. Guess it depends on if you can get it running with a carb cleaning. It could be lots of fun but it could also become a folly. You could probably get your money back out of it by selling it's parts if all else fails.

Talked him down to $100, my excuse was that Oxford is about an hour drive, and that I woulden't really want to make the drive for a $150 cart. Picking it up tomorrow. Also showed him some of my used gear (e.g. a digital Camera, such) and he may accept a trade to lower the price even more. I don't need the cameras, so why not get rid of them, spring cleaning.

You will want a camera to post pics of all your builds?

I'm a part time professional videographer and photographer. I have plenty of photo and video equipment, including a HD Video Camera and a 5 MP still shot camera.

I'm a full time logistician. I have an 8 mp still camera and an HD video camera, and a couple golf carts that I didnt have to trade the tools of my trade for.
