Default 1989 EZGO fuel pump placement

I bought this 89 ezgo gas cart with it not running. The guy I got it from said the fuel pump was bad and he took it off. I got a new pump but I have no clue on where it goes. Im new to the gas carts. Can anyone help figure out where it sits on the motor? Also I cant find any literature on this cart. Is there supposed to be a gasket also behind the pump or does the oring seal it off? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There will be a threaded hole on the engine block that pulses air when the engine is turning over. I don't know exactly where it is on a 3-pg like yours, but it will be near the carburetor.
This is the best I can do for an 89 manual. The fuel pump is on page U-2.

Thank you guys. So I have also noticed that I dont have the spacer that goes behind the fuel pump and from everywhere I looked and called they are no longer available. What is the best way to make one?

89 also came with a remote mounted pump. You could go that route.

The insulator broke on my 85 2pg years ago, I tried hard to find a replacement to no avail. All I could find is the 'insulator gasket', So I bought shorter mounting bolts and mounted the pump directly to the case. I didn't like the idea but did it anyway, haven't had an issue yet but I'm sure it's hard on the bottom diaphragm.. Next time I need a pump I'd like to go with a remote mount or even an electric one

Thanks for all the help. I used some nylon spacers and they work great. Got the cart running and it was running great especially for sitting for a couple years. The next day I went to ride it and I'm not getting fire. Is it common for the ignitor or the coil to go out like that? Anything I can check or test?
