2007 mpt gas
Gas MPT wont shut off after it starts, let off the pedal and it continues to run until i pull the gas line and it runs out of fuel.????

Sounds like the starter solenoid is sticking or maybe the micro switch.

I would lean towards the micro switch, if it was the solenoid then the gas wouldn't matter it would continue to turn the motor until the battery died.

 Remove the cover where the solenoid is located. I used to hit the solenoid with something when our ezgo's did this. If that solves the problem then replace that stuck thing You could always put you a master switch on battery or a fuel shut off valve on it .  just kidding This is a new for me though. Cutting fuel supply is the only way to make it stop ? This is the MCI robbins engine ?? |
