Default 2007 gas Ez go

I just bought a 2007 Ez go. I have a few questions. I was wondering if there is a way to have the brushgaurd, top and the hunting basket all on at the same time and which way do you have the brackets face? What do ST stand for? When I put in in reverse it jumps in to gear what is wrong with it. It is going to be used at a campground what are some upgrades to do to it? What are some speed upgrades to do to it? What is a good light kit for the cart?

Well, I see where you get your nameJ/K I'm sure you will get more advice here in regards to your upgrades than you really want. What are you looking to use this cart for?

well, the issue with the gear poping in is normal, you have to just give it a sec toi engage, if you keep slamming it into gear like you are it will eat the rear end gears up, feather the gas pedel and let the gears ingage on its own. make sure you change the rear end oil every year, of season

slamming into gear is cause by the belt grabbing (a lot of the times) try flipping the belt around, that seems to help about half the time.
There are some diagrams of the full brush cage in the service parts manual (I think) that should show you how it's mounted.
Is your cart an ST model?

Strech makes a cage and a rack for the top of it.

Yes it is a ST
What rear end oil would you put in the cart?

the rear uses 30w non detergent oil
The ST carts already have the 28 degree clutch so low end power shouldn't be a problem. A governor adjustment will help the overall performance

If you put it in reverse before coming to a full stop or hammering the throttle from a full stop it is going to give you quite a jolt when the belt grabs.

As for performance tips, did you check out the tech section here? Helped me out a lot.

As for stuff to add, well I run, wait let me rephrase that, the wife, as I can't seem to pry it away from her, uses it all the time at the RV lot. I had the bag carrier removed and an aluminum cargo box added. Great for hauling all kinds of stuff.

Added the enclosure package, so it's nice and snug when the weather turns nasty.

Added a small heater for those cold mornings we even get here in Florida.

Has the factory lamp package, but I added 6 off road lamps to the roof for even more vision capability.

Neat one was swapping out the stock battery for a deep cell version, and installing a 1500 watt inverter, so I can run power tools and such away from the nearest electric plug.

And then there's the lift kit and off road tires. Don't know about what it really did other then making it look darn good, and not just another cart.

One last thing. Don't make it louder by changing out the exhaust. Be kind to your fellow campers. Just love late at night when one of the campers comes cruising in on his Harley with the straight pipes. Rattles the windows, fires up the dogs, and most of the neighborhood.

Some people just don't get it, camps are to get away from the noise. LOL
