Default 2001 EZ-GO 1200 Workhorse Lift Kit and Rims/Tires

I bought an 01 Workhorse and am currently getting it wrapped but am wanting to put a lift kit in and add rims and tires on it. This is my first cart so I haven't had much experience with the lift kits. Does anyone have any suggestions to which lift kit to get? Also is there a certain size rims/tires that will work the best. I'm thinking with the cart wrapped, lift kit, rims/tires, and radio installed it will be a pretty cool looking unit.

Only my opinion but I would say a 5" dropped axle lift with 10" rims and 22" tires.... unless you want to spend the Big Bucks for a long travel lift.

I would stay away from the spindle lifts.

work horses sit a few inches higher than other carts from the factory... my buddy has one and I was wondering if it considered a facotry lift kit or if its just built to sit that high so adding a lift kit to one is easy? thanks

Some workhorses have a factory drop axle and you can fit 23" tires no problem.

Some workhorses sit the same height as a regular golf cart.

If he's asking about a lift kit, i'm assuming he has the latter.
