75w-90 or similar gear oil is fine.

I saw on another thread just last week the guy said the book called for some kind of obsolete 30w, he was saying the equivalent to that now is Delo 200 or 400 don't remember which one......
I've been using 75-90w gear oil for 20 years in mine with no problems, although the front seal is leaking a bit now so I tried the even thicker 85-140w in hopes of slowing down the leak. That probably wasn't a good idea and I don't think it slowed down the leak either lol |
