Charging issue
1990 ez go marathon 3pg engine. I have 3 brand new voltage regulators and all of them still do the same thing. I get 12.6 volts max. I can pull the green wire that goes to the starter/generator and ground it and it will go up to 16 volts or more. I have even took a brand new regulator and made some short wires off of the terminals and hooked it to a hot and ground off the battery and hooked the green to the DF terminal and still only 12.6. Am I missing something?

Re: Charging issue
Maybe a dumb question but at what rpm are you testing it?

Re: Charging issue
I have it on Jack stands and it doesn't matter if your at full throttle or half it will only go to around 12.6 if you hold it full throttle it will slowly climb to 12.7 or so.
