Default 2013 RXV from golf course- pricing?

Local golf course is selling its fleet of 2013 gas RXVs. Asking $3,000. I have no idea if that is a good price or not.

What should I look for?

Is the RXV well suited for use as a 6" lifted hunting buggie?

My course just replaced their fleet of 2016 RXV Electric's with new 2020 RXV Elite Lithium. 10 of the old carts, with new batteries installed, were sold to members for $2000 each. Two sand buckets and a club cover and fold down windshield is all that is on them. $3000 sounds very high at 6 yrs old, but I don't know value of gas carts.

Depends on where you're located.

I don't think it's a "steal" by any means but it's not ripping anyone off either. Search around, you can find folks selling carts they bought off golf courses and etc. for pretty cheap. I've seen them as cheap as $2k. Look around on craigslist or facebook, you'll see them pop up all the time. Folks will go to auction and buy a lot of 50-100 carts. They sell them a lot cheaper than the course will, or cheaper than the guy that just bought a lot of 10 carts.

I'd personally think you could do better either buying one privately, or building one. I personally think it's a lot more fun to build it :)

I think this is $3k spent much more wisely if you're looking for a hunting buggy. Even if you're not local, shipping may be a worthwhile expense. you'd spend AT LEAST $1k in upgrades (lift, tires, etc) on that fleet cart anyway and still not have half of what this beast has to offer... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...bb-v-twin.html

Not a fan of the rxv lifted or the new Kawasaki in ezgo carts. 3 is not a bad price but not great either.
