Two cable F/R shifter

Hi,
Does anyone know when, what year, the gas Ezgo went to the single shift cable on the Workhorse and ST models ?
Have a 2001 workhorse and it has a two cable setup. Was hoping to switch to a single cable but can't get a donor.
Neutral is a hit and miss with this.

Looking to get another cart to take some pressure off this one and thought this would be s good place to start .

From what I've read they changed it somewhere between 2001 - 2002. There are some 2001 models with one cable, then you'll find some 2002 models with 2 cables. I have a 2001 TXT with two cables. Hope this helps!

Yes,yes. Helps plenty.
It's just one more Clue to helping me get another cart. Most sellers don't know age of cart or what engine they have so either I get to guide them on the phone or go look myself .
Looks like they went to a plastic bed in 2002.
To the hunt.
