Default Custom halo LED headlights on my S4

I'm really happy with the way these custom Halo LEDs on my headlights turned out. Just wanted to share if anyone else with an EZ GO Express wants to do this.

I wanted a custom look with some Halo style LEDs so I purchased the following LED halo rings in the exact MM size to fit the Express headlight (had to do some conversions on measurements but finally figured it out to be the 100 MM:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Replaced my existing halogen bulbs with these LED bulbs:

There is a small gap under the headlights where I could feed the wires through. There is a small inline fuse so I had to cut that off and tie it back in on the back side. I decided to splice the halo rings directly into my headlight cables (positive and negative) so they just turn on with the headlights. This worked out really well since the LED bulbs that I replaced my halogen with were not as bright as I wanted. With the halo LEDs added, it's plenty bright and looks awesome. The rings come with tape on the backs but you'll have to add a strip of 3M tape on top of that to make it work.

Here is the final product. I couldn't get a good pic from a distance showing the LED rings on since the light blurs together.

Thanks! I'm not too worried about the LED bulbs now that I put a 40" LED bar across the top of the roof. Lights up the entire neighborhood

Thanks for the great idea. I added these halo's to my S4. I was thinking of installing them within the lens but I was getting frustrated with getting the headlights out so I used liquid nails to install them on the exterior like you.

They look great.

Like you I also installed LED headlights. I used a company called Beamtech.

I also installed some LEDGlow lights for underneath.

Any chance you could take more up close pics on the lights from the side, etc and how you ran the wires? Looks great!

As the OP stated the fuse on the Halos need to be cut and re-spliced. I've attached a picture which shows the wires going behind the headlight. There is another picture which shows the wires going behind the headlight housing to the instrument panel. I installed the switch over the warning labels. This area has a lot of access by simply removing the cup holder which has 3 tabs.

The LED underbody was wired in the path of least resistance away from any heat source or moving parts. I ran all wires up the front driver's wheel well. There is a grouping of wires which I followed all the way up to where I positioned my switches.

Awesome! Glad I could help. The red ones look pretty slick and I bet they go nicely with the LED underbody kit at night :)

Nice, thanks for the pics and advice. I'm planning on running the wires into a box that is remote controlled that will also control my light bar. Thanks for the research in getting the correct fitment.
