2010 rxv madjax lift kit
So I picked up a 2010 gas rxv yesterday. Once i got it home i proceeded to intsall a madjax 6"lift kit .. the video on you tube made it look simple .. the front was simple , but the rear which should have been a cake walk , was anything but .. i had to fight and fight to get the leaf springs to line up with the hole on the lift block , absolute nightmare.. once i got everything on and front end aligned i go to take it for a spin and there is alot of just vibration coming from the whole driveline. On top of that the front suspension is very stiff . im contemplating taking a leaf out of the front suspension to soften it up. All in all not super impressed with the way it went. Anyone else ever have a tough time with the rear suspension installation ??
Side note , along with the lift kit i also adjusted the two nuts on the governor, now at full speed a get like a ticking/knocking/clicking sound that seems to come from the rear end.. anything like this sound normal ? |
