Default Did any 1995 EZGO's have plastic bodies?

I recently picked up this gas cart at an auction for 35 whole dollars, lol. I was under the assumption that all 95's were medalists and had the metal body. NOTHING appears to have been changed, the tag, the body, anything?? There serial # is 888674 with a model # of G2795 which definitely comes back as a 95? Do I have to assume the body has been changed? Attached is the cart when I bought it. Many Thanks

Anything is possible, I thought they came out with the txt in 96. Maybe you have the first one ever built.... and Hellava deal.

All the wiring was SHOT!!! Sat under a pine tree for God knows how long!! But believe it or not, fresh plugs and gas and I had it going in 2 hours. Will need a lot of minor stuff but overall seems to be doing fine. I know I want to put headlights and brake lights in, so I need to order for 96 and up based on the picture? Thanks, Mike

Nice find. The bodies can easily be switched from the medalist to the TXT as well.

Also not all changes are implemented midyear. So there is no absolute date when any change, drive or body, begins. They do this so they can run out existing stock without any unwanted leftovers. So it is possible to have a 1995 with a plastic body from the factory.
$35 is a steal - remind me not to take any carts to the auction

Can you tell the week of production by the numbers?

It was kinda funny, it was an estate sale and it wasn't even listed on the sale. At the end I said "Hey what about the old cart in the woods", the auctioneer said sell it!! lol. It will need a lot of little things but well worth it for sure

Sometimes a cheap find that maybe you didn't really want can cost you lots of money.
I can make you feel good though. I will pay you double what you paid for it

Some people just don't have a clue on the value of these older EZGO's . You did good
