1980 EZ-GO problems need help!
Hi my ez-go is driveing me nuts. It will run like new and then it will lose all power. let it stop and it will run.it did this for about three weeks or so.it got to where it wont run at all so I changed the plug it didnt help made sure it was getting gas took the flywheel cover and flywheel off it looked ok put it back on it ran like new for two or three hours then it stoped running.could it be the coil or egniter or what? PS I check the fire got spark dont know how good of spark.

Sounds to me like it might be getting extremely hot. WHen it wont run have you noticed if the engine is really really really hot?

No its not geting hot when I let off the gas come to a stop it would run agian.cold or hot its the same.but know it dont run at all. my coil may be going bad or something I dont know.Thank all the same

I fixed my ez-go today Bad egniter wire put a new one on it. checked all other wire put new ones if thay even looked fair. Im off and running THANKS
