12 volt ignition hot
i have a radio installed in my cart after i let it sit for a week it kills the battery even if radio is off they had red and yellow wire from radio sraight to battery so i want to leave yellow connected to battery so it keeps my presets but i need to wire red to something so when key is off red has no power any ideas

I put a regular toggle switch on my radio, but ran my lights through a three position key switch. You should be able to run a radio through the "on" pole on the keyswitch. Ez go has them standard on light packaged carts.
I never turn the key off, but remember the toggle because of the music. Go Figure! Hope this helps! |

yea thats what i did for nowhooked up toggle i didnt want to run thru on pole at key switch because then i would have to have lights on to play radio but thanks for the input
