New Member w Engine Problems

Hello club members, Just got into golf carts, love this new sport. Building this sand demon for BURNING MAN 2009 in the Nevada dessert. It will be CAMO w lots of gadgets, gauges & upgrades I have a gas 1989 EZGO Freedom. Just rebuilt carb, new fuel lines, fuel pump, oil pump, new gaskets and seals, belts, battery, plug and wire, coil & points seems to be ok. Yes and clean gas. Looking for a new reed valve, this seems to have a little ware. Cannot get it to run right Starts runs great for 10 minutes then dies. Does anyone recognize this problem??? Chef Mario (retired) |
