Default Clutch Rebuild ?

On a 02 EZGO txt gas, can the clutch that`s on the rear axle be rebuilt ? Where I work they replaced one and I wondered if I could rebuild one as a spare. {also is this one a driven clutch ? }

Thanks , milo

It is the driven clutch, It depends on whats wrong with it as to if you can fix it. clutches in general and more so for aluminium driven ones are consumable parts, they will only last a finite amount of time. If its free for the taking then get it, you may be able to fix it.

Is there any trick to taking them apart ? What am I looking for after I take the snap ring off, or maybe I should say what is worn out ?
Thanks, Milo

Got my clutch on the shop table, got the snap ring off, now the problem, thats all I can get apart, have spayed it with wd40, bumped on the outter cap with a rubber mallet, I even pitched out in the yard a couple times with no luck, what`s next ? Even called it a SOB several times, Any help other that pitching it in the river and let the fish deal with it !

Thanks, Milo

Must be in a bind somehow, have you tried moving the sheaves in opposite directions. that would get the cam pushing it apart
