Trying to confirm year
The tag on my ezgo gas shows 851 19 am I correct to assume it is an 85?

Ezgo uses the manufacture code (not serial#) to designate the year .... the last 2 digits are the year.

I checked it again. The Manufacturers Code is 851 19
|

Yea, it's probably an 85. On some years around then they put the year first.

I too have one the is confusing. I have several older gas carts. Send a pic of your cart and I will let you know how they compare.
