Drive belt tension
After some reading the sight about drive belts I took a look at mine and it is extremely loose , how much play should it have sitting idle. It does tighten up when throttle is engaged.

Re: Drive belt tension
To the top of the drive clutch or driven clutch. I've only noticed it ride up the drive clutch when the throttle is engaged , didn't think it moved at all on the rear driven clutch , but I'll check again.

Re: Drive belt tension
When the cart is not moving the belt should be at the bottom of the drive clutch and the top of the driven clutch. As you accelerate in speed the belt should move towards the top of the drive clutch and towards the bottom of the driven clutch.
