Default 90 Marathon Suspension

What is the easiest and cheapest way to add some suspension to a 90 marathon? Really don't want to add larger tires since the 2 stroke doesn't have a lot of power. We use the cart at our farm with some hills and slight rough terrain and it beats you up at higher speeds.

It will always do that until you get off of the leaf springs .... So that is a major makeover.... some ballon type tires with little air in them is the biggest improvement you are gonna get without a makeover....

What kind of air pressure should I run?

Also what suspension kit should I look at if I want to go that route?

For suspension get something with max sidewall height and minimum # of belts ... ie: an 22" tire on an 8" rim in a 2 ply Cheapo tire will flex the most and try say 8 pounds? You have to test it out. Final outcome will depend on the tire, the load, terrain, and driver habits ....

TO be fair more than one Site Sponsor sells A- arm long travel suspension.... I am not certain if they make it to fit your cart..... Maybe 1 of the sponsors or a more knowledgeable member will chime in and let us know? Or you could search it out .....

Seems like I had a hard time finding an A arm susp. for my 89 but you could always do the cheap lift with the blocks and put some 22" mudbusters on it. I run 4 lbs in my tires but they are 25"X12"X10

with larger tires on the same wheels you may need wheel spacers to move the inside tire wall out to prevent it from scrubbing somthing or move to offset wheels , have read somewhere that a plain ( steel ) offset wheel can be had at tractor supply for around $18.
