How difficult is it to remove the body on an 1987 Marathon? I'm already doing some minor repairs and while I'm waiting for parts to arrive, I'd like to remove the body and paint the chassis.

To put it simple, alot of screws and sections. I believe the 87 is about the same as my 89. I just finished removing & re-assembling mine. If your going clear down to the frame you'll have to drill out some spot welds in the front floor board & cowl. A few pop rivits to drill but nothing difficult. Have fun!!!!

More than likely, a lot of rust to deal with... Stock up on WD 40 before you start.

Where can I buy replacement pop rivets? The stock rivets don't look like the kind I can buy at Lowes.
