recheck the fuel delivery system for proper function. new fuel filter and clean out carb. maybe trash or fuel pump issue.

Dont know, almost sounds like the float is sticking periodically in the closed position. if the fuel pump is pumping fuel reliably, and the fuel is getting to the carb, then the problem must be in the carb. You said two filters? could they be restricting the flow too much??

yeah it had two on it when I bought it...one between tank and pump and one between pump and carb...put new ones on it..used car inline fiters....does it come with just one...and if so where does it go.....when I bought my air filter I got one fuel filter and then a oil filter....but mine does not have oil pump on...i mix fuel....should I use the fuel filter that came with air filter.

Why did someone sell you an oil filter? I would probably not use auto fuel filters. Normally if you look thru the site sponsors sites, you should see what the filter looks like that goes on it. It is a smaller filter and it goes between the tank and the fuel pump. We may be chasing a rabbit here but I would get it back to stock so that it will be closer to the way it was intended to perform if you know what I mean. In other words, sounds like someone went overkill and modified the stock configuration. With that all put back in order you can test the pump and see if it is pumping reliably. Again pointing to the carb and fuel flow from there as a likely issue.

when I bought my air filter..at a golf cart shop...it came with a fuel filter and anouther filter that has a brass stone looking thing in it...he said that one was the line that pumps the oil....which I don't have on mine...i had the new fuel filters on already so I did not use the one that came with air filter....i ordered fuel pump..it was cheap anyway...and I guess I will take that one filter off and replace the other with the stock one....thanks for all the help...think of anything else let me know
