engine replacement

have a chance to get an 1982 ez go. on the phone the gentleman said it don't run. my question is what is the ball park figure for replacing the engine?
also i have been looking and the only lift kit i can find is a 4 inch, do they make a 5 or 6 inch, and if they do where do i get one.
i am considering doing this for my son and two granddaughters(age 2 and 5)
took my 02 club car for new batteries and the girls had a blast.
When i get done i am wanting a compete camo job and lift kit with the big tires and probably will be replacing the engine. engine first, then the rest.
any help greatly appreciated.

i'm not sure about the engine but, the suspension lift kit the 4" lift is about all that's available. all of us here just fab. our own.

That could be a bad plug wire and could be the engine and clutches, belts, and ignition system. You really need a better idea of the specific problem(s) to estimate a repair or decide on a purchase. For all we know, it could be out of fuel??

Rebuilding a small engine can cost over $500.
Let's see what some others think, someone may have a motor

1982? Engine, clutches, belts, brakes, lift, tires. wheels, steering and $$$$$$$

FYI - The suspension lift is 4", then consider the larger tires / wheels - This is where you git the overall lift of 6"
