295 Robin firing once.

I've got a 96 Ezgo with a 295 robin. It fires when you first hit the gas

and then stops firing and doesn't fire any more.

Any clues as to what to look at first.......igniter,coil pack? It was running great and then woundn't restart.

I've followed several posts before with this same condition, fire once playing with the pedal, it always seemed the ignitor was the culprit.
Check and double check all of you harness connections for corrosion and hit them with some contact cleaner before you buy anything.

Thanks for your input guys. I have checked all the connections, pulled the plugs and and checked the spark with a tester. I get 1, maybe 2, bright blue sparks and then nothing. I was guessing it was the ignitor.
While searching the archives I think I have read that there is no test for the ignitor.
Is that correct?

that is right, no test

You can test all the other components. If they are all good, it's the ignitor

I don't think I'd bother.
