TVH I put the belt on in the woods because the old belt stranded us there.. I just rolled it right on. Three of us hopped on it and it pulled us right out of the woods. Topend speed is a little slower but not bad. My cart carries two 2x boys 2 chainsaws and tools in and out of the woods. The tourqe is what I needed. I put a lift and 22 inch tire on my cart and it needed some help. THANKS FOR THE INFO. Porkchop

39" for marathon 4 stroke 40-3/4" for TXT 4 stroke Some say a shorter belt may wear bearings in eng. on crank and diff. quicker? I like both the short belt and 28 degree clutch My .02 cents and works for me. |

Hey Hermie, shifting from foward to reverse no problem at all, at least not on my cart. The only thing that I have noticed is that the cart is a little harder to push around. The belt slightly drags on the front clutch. The belt that I used is a yamaha 85 and newer 39-3/4 OD 1.25 wide on my 91 4stroke

The 28 degree parts to put in your clutch are around $20.00 at the local custom cart shops here in the Phx. area.
