adjusting TXT shift cables
I have looked in Ezgo manual no. 28627-G01 and Differential manual 27660-G01. I can't find Ezgo's procedures for adjusting shift cables. Can someone post a Ezgo page on this adjustment. Thanks, Ted

Re: adjusting TXT shift cables
Scotty, What about the threads on the on the jam nuts that hold the cables to the lower brkt. Does this just take up the slack in the cables? Thanks, Ted

Re: adjusting TXT shift cables
Owners manual #28475-G01 has the info. It's under power train maintenance. It shows the adjuster in neutral and shows the spring tension measurement at 1 3/8" or 3.49 cm. I think you can see it in the photo.

Re: adjusting TXT shift cables
Ted I have seen those cables adjusted from 1 3/8 below the nut to 1 3/16 th above the nut and they all worked..... so there must be an awful lot of forgiveness in those cable setups...... are you having trouble with some?
