Angry 1989 Ez Go Flooding Bad.

Hi, I've Put This Problem On Another Forum As Well As This One Trying To Find Some Help. I Have A 1989 Ez Go 244 3pg Engine And It Is Flooding With Gas. If I Disconnect The Gas Line, Remove Plug, And Turn Motor Over It Blows Gas Out. When It Quits Blowing Heavy, I Replace Plug And Cart Will Start And Run Untill It Runs Out Of Fuel. Then Reconnect Fuel Line And When I Try And Start It, It Floods Over Again.
Have Cleaned Carb., Float Seems To Be Working, Carb Is In Good Shape, Throttle Linkage Is Closing, Removed Air Cleaner, Air Is Sucking In Intake, Feel Blowing Out Exhaust. Replaced Both Crank Seals, Has New Rings, Just Remove Oiler And Started Mixing Fuel/oil (1.5 Oz To 1 Gallon)
Any Advice From All These Great Cart Minds. I Have Read Many Answers You Have Given Others, And Know You Are All Know Much Much More Than I.
I Need To Get It Fixed Pretty Soon, My Daughter Seems To Be Having Withdraw Pains Not Being Able To Drive Around.

Thanks In Advanced.

My old 89 did the same thing and I (prior to finding this site) spent approx. 500$ at a shop having the "fix" it only to get ripped off, pissed off, and determined to find the problem myself. LMAO it cost around 30 bucks to get a new pump and solve the problem. lesson learned.

I had the same problem, my issue was the two lines coming from the fuel pump was backwards, the only way i found it was, i took the carb off and there was no fuel in it, so i put the fuel line in a can and hit the starter, nothing was pumping but gas was still coming out the exhaust, so i switched the lines and everything worked good.

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to reply. Thanks alot for the advice. The fuel pump diaphragm was the problem. Replaced it and all was good again. Well it was untill the next problem. Ran good for 1 day, then no spark. That didn't turn out too bad, only a loose connection at the fuse.
Thanks again, you guys saved me alot of time and money!

Hey y'all I know this is an older post but I'm having the same issue of my cart flooding out..
I've replaced carb and fuel filter and it just keeps flooding.if I unplug the line from the fuel filter the the case it will spit out about a cup of fuel and take off untill it runs out the I have to plug the line back in it fills back up and have to unplug it again to get it to go..

anyone got any ideas
But mine is a 93 GXT-800
