1990 EZGO 2 Stoke Gov and elec questions

Hey all I am new to this site but it looks like an awesome place.

I have a 1990 EZGO 2 stroke I have removed the carb and the governor system
I have installed a tillotson carb and I have it running but I have had problems at higher rpms the engine starts to cut out. I just pulled the carb and tore it down to clean it and check it out. But I don't have any info on the ignition system but I did see a diagram to replace the ignitor with gm hei module. I was just wondering if there is also some kind of electronic gov system on these.
I am also looking for a lift kit and a set of wheels and tires does anybody know what the best stuff is and where the cheapest place to buy this stuff is. I also need a bottom seat and two seat backs.

sounds like the rev limiter.

I found my 1989 pdf manual on (eastcoastcarts.com) the illustrated parts breakdown is free...the repair manual you pay for. The IPB was all I needed to show me where everything was and what it was called. In fact my manual covers the 1990 as well. (electric and gas models of the marathon freedom and the spirit series)
