Default 1983 ez-go 4-stroke gas cart

Hello,
I found this web site on goggle and hope I can gets some help.

It seem that the engine is starven for fuel. If i spray gas into the carb it runs great, until what i sprayed into carb is used up.

Anyone have any idieas on what my problem is.

I would check the supply ... the filter and the pump for starters If the supply is adequit and all fuel lines were solid, then I would rebuild the carb

you could also see if the gas is getting to the carb by loosening the screw at the bottom (bowl) and crank the engine a bit. If you don't have gas in 10sec, you not getting it that far. If you do have gas leaking out, and it's not starting without spray still, then the carb has to come off cause it's probably gummed up from old fuel.
