Assembly of Ezgo Driven Clutch
I have this from the sevice manual, can anyone verify the direction is correct? it seems it should be clockwise as it is as if you are unwinding the spring. Just asking, thanks
Driven Clutch Assembly Assemble the moveable sheave (11) to the fixed sheave (14) and insert the spring (10) in the pilot hole in the moveable sheave (Ref. Fig. 2 on Page J-2). Insert the other end of the spring in the torque ramp (9) and rotate the ramp counterclockwise 140° before engaging the splines and inserting the retaining ring (. |

Yes it does take the load off just doesn't seem right. Can you enlighten me since we spoke today. All help appreciated since I have parts coming anyday now to repair mine. thanks

that does seem opposite of what is logical? Maybe when you pull your's apart you note which way it was tensioned?

Ha!!!!!!!!!!! I remember taking one apart and it sprung out counterclockwise. So I re-assembled it clockwise...
