New 2008 EXGO ST 2X2???
I just talked to a dealer that still has a couple new 2008 EZGO ST 2x2's. He claims the older 2 cylinder 11hp engines in these older carts are better than the newer 13hp Kawasaki engines in the newer carts.
True? |

Re: New 2008 EXGO ST 2X2???
The new engine is a Kawasaki engine. I would think that EZGO would want to improve the power of the newer carts and and not give up the reliability of the cart. Maybe Mikesmotortoys can chime in with some real world experience. I know he went from a 24HP Honda to the new Kawasaki engine in his personal cart, thats a pretty good indication there.

Re: New 2008 EXGO ST 2X2???
The new motor is definately an upgrade. Now, please know that there is NOTHING wrong with the old 11hp 350cc carts, but they do not hold a candle to the newer 13hp. Unless you're getting a SMOKING good deal - you'll soon be sorry you bought the older model - especially when a newer cart leaves you in it's dust

New 2008 ST 2x2 for $6,000.
He said he believes the older twin cylinders are better than the newer single cylinders. Guess he was just being a salesman. $6K sounds pretty good though, doesn't it? |

Not sure what's an option and what's standard, but they have the long tops, foldable rear seats, big tires, brush guard, light package and windshields.
