Default compression test

I have a 2003 w/h w/295 robin.
I just adj. the valves and checked comp. and get 220lb and 210lb.
I was told that 165 was a good # and so now i'm wondering why I have so much comp. I'm new to carts, this is my first one. It has 945 hours on it. I dont know any back ground on this toy.
Reading threw all the other post and trying to learn as much as possible before posting,I think my answer is going to be run it till it dies and put a bigger motor.
Thats a great idea and i will but in the mean time I would like to make it last as long as possible.
Is 210/220 so much as there is a problem

165 is a GOOD minimum! 200# is awesome. You could also have a gauge that isn't reading correctly. Don't worry - you got a tight engine

High compression just makes it run better. If you have knocking, you may want to use high test. Other than that, excellent......

When I see numbers that high I always think of a 350 engine with a 295 head. they pull numbers in that range......
