Got radio for christmas
I got a water proof marine radio. It has a splash sheld ipod and usb aux. Should I mount it in the dash or get a console to mount it? Do I need to purchase a amp for it or is it ok without an amp? Since I got underglow and I'm going to have a radio should I get a marine deep cycle battery and a battery tender?

You don't need an amp. Your stock battery will be fine. Any replacement battery needs to be the same size = 60/70 series.

Re: Got radio for christmas
With the radio should I do dash mount location or console? What do you do if you use the dash mount location where the cigerette lighter is. I seen that it has a black metal plate in the back what do you do with that? Can you tell me what is the deminisions of the dash mount location? Like Length X Width X Height

Re: Got radio for christmas
Here's an idea for you. If you need measuremts - try looking at your radio's instructions for that. I think they're all the same, but I never look at that, we just matchup the head "holder" bracket and air saw away...

Re: Got radio for christmas
The way you mounted them in the glove box did you just use metal to make the speaker box so it will fit in the glove box
