any suggestions for a winch for my 97 medialist? stock front end, w/ 4" lift. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Harbor freight is having a blowout sale on the camo colored 300 pound wireless remote 12 volt winch....... need I say more? Okay...... I bought two they are $49.99

What length cable you need out in socal to get to a tree Scotty?

Prolly about 600 ft....... if your lucky
I'm mounting 1 on my little trailer for dead cart recovery Haven't decided what to do with the other one yet

300 pound didn't know they made them that small

ezgo uses 2000lb ones on there st models, I think scotty means 3000lb. more than plently for a 1000lb cart

Ooops! Lost a Zero there.... Yeh, 3000 pounds & 3/16th cable .... 32 ft will drag carts on my trailer ..... I dunno how far between trees in your neck of the woods but I carry a 12' tow strap. They come 20-25'. That could be used to increase your reach

Check your local HF. The january sale officially starts 01/16 but our store manager gave it to me early
I'm making a mount for it on the trailer today

I got mine from H/F off of ebay, they have a store on ebay and lots of times you can get the same thing cheaper in there.
