350 performance head
I was doing a 295 /350 build and had lots of warpage of the head and deck, and that resulted in damage at the machine shop. Yea, they screwed it up more...I got a block and asked about a head. The builder was awesome and hooked me up. This is what was available.
This is a welded, ported and machined 350 head. There's a picture of a stock head also, to see the difference. Think that will bump the compression? It's been installed on the block and will be installed tomorrow. We're gonna test drive this baby on video. We have 104 octane race gas and my tach is in place. Stay tuned, we'll see what she does..... |

Re: 350 performance head
Awesome looking head. It has kind of a Valentine look to it the way its ported. I think we should all buy one for our wife instead of flowers this year. A little red ribbon and a box of candy and viola, Valentine's Day gift taken care of. Within a week it will be forgotten and ready for installation. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Re: 350 performance head
I bought an IEquus tach from CPP and had a couple issues with it. I have an MSD ignition and it didn't want to read multiple sparks. LMK what you got, we'll get it to work....
That head is a 1 of a kind from Az. it was on a display motor for a couple years! The closest you can get is a 295 head on a 350 block. They also run very good. It's cold and wet here, not much progress will happen today. Sorry. It is running and is strong! I need to check the valves and adjust the carb a little. Ya'll have a good day. |

Re: 350 performance head
I'm in South Central AL - Lowndes County. I have a 93 Tuff-1 with the Robbins 295 so I was really interested if there were aftermarket heads for that engine. I use my cart alot during hunting season and as you know we have had alot of rain lately and we had to deal with some nasty mud the last couple trips. I'm looking to see how to get a little more power out of this engine before do alot more to it (lift kit, etc).
