Default 1994 marathon ?

where and what is the govenor on these carts is it a cable? how do you adjust the govenor on these cart. i believe my uncle messed with the govenor and it may need readjusting because the motor blew up and i had to rebuild it.

About all I can remember is that it's a linkage on top of the rear diff. I think I backed it almost all the way off. The cart went from about 15 mph to about 23 or 24 mph with 20s on it.

I'm trying to find something about it to show more, but striking out so far.

Pull the 4 screws off the rear plate just in front of the bagwell area. The thing will be staring you in the face. It's a cable linkage with a spring, a nut & lock nut on it

I made some adjustments to this last week. Only turned it in about the thickness of the nut. Made a big difference in top end.
