What your talking about is for a gas txt, I used the diagram of that setup only to show the plate. The workhorses we were talking about use a different setup as you can tell by the pictures, it's about the same as an electric txt setup. On the gas txt I would sooner get rid of that whole isolated mounting setup an use a more conventional system but some would say going to that extreme is kinda overkill. It may be hard to tell from the pics but the axle mounting setup on the workhorses in the pics is every bit as strong as what you'll find in most light duty pickups and IMO this sort of setup is a must if your going with a big engine in a txt.
