Default 89 Marathon Carb question

Hi, I asked a similar question in another thread here, but thought it might be less confusing to post in my own thread.

I have a 89 Marathon (2 cycle)
The engine was completely overhauled less than 2 years ago.
When I got the cart the tube from the carb to airbox was missing so I stuck a high flow cone filter directly to the carb. After adjusting the carb it was running great, So I welded a piece of 3/4" conduit to the exhaust tip coming from the muffler and extended it to the back of the cart (with a nice shiny 1 1/2" chrome tip )

Now it seems to break up randomly while riding. It will smooth out and run great sometimes in the top end and then break up when the governor hits. Then sometimes it breaks up in the low end and smooths out for a few seconds before breaking up in the top end. It just seems so very random.
The exhaust extension I put on has no sharp bends or anything that would ristrict flow. So I am completly baffled.

I even went so far as to remove and clean every component of the fuel system, even the tank. And fill up with new gas.

I'm assuming that I'm just out of jetting and need to use a bigger jet.
Does anyone know where I can get jets for it?
Or can anyuone think of anyhting I'm not doing/trying?

Thanks,

P.s. after cleaning the fuel system I fouled a plug. But the other plug I ran doesnt look bad...

well sounds like you need to go a step richer on your main jet because your adding more air I had the same problem on our two stroke dragster but you say you fouled a plug? are you running premix? or injection

Premixed. was running around 50:1 then changed to 100:1 or so. I mixed this tank 1.25 oz to each gallon. And it fouled the first time I ran it on the leaner mixture.

It seems like it was running smoother on the rich mixture, which would kinda go along with needing more jetting...

Where can I get a bigger main jet? I want to run it some more and see what the plug looks like...
