Gear ratio trouble
I am a new poster, but I have a never ending cart project. I am now on my third and hopefully final motor. I have a 1991 cb 250 motor that I am putting in my 2000 ez-go txt with a jakes a-arm suspension. My question is what front and rear sprocket combo is needed to achieve 45-50mph. The motor currently has a 15 tooth sprocket and the rear sprocket off the motorcycle is a 33 tooth, I can get an 11 tooth for the rear. I am currently to stupid to do the math bc the 12-1 transaxle ratio is screwing me all up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Gear ratio trouble
if you went with 15-15 that would be a one to one ratio but then you would also have to figure the gears in the transmission of the motor and the gears in the rear end

Re: Gear ratio trouble
250CC? 45 MPH? I don't think you have enough motor or the correct rear end?
