Need Help with parts and other info.

HI all. I just got an EZ-GO TXT with a Robin engine model EH29C. I was wanting to find out what year and everything that it is and also where I can buy an engine rebuild kit. It only has compression coming from one cylinder, so I guess I'll be tearing it apart. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

If you will post the serial number we can tell you the year of the cart. On all of your parts you can contact Tongpo1 on this site and he can get you anything you need.

it's a 96
and I believe that's tungpo1, Mike

Alrighty, Thanks!

I got the cart for free because it's only running on one cylinder. So I'm gonna totally rebuild the motor and want a complete rebuild kit. I will PM him and see what's the next step.

These engines will throw a rod if they are run low on oil, check to see if the piston (on the side that has no compression) is moving. You really don't need to be getting parts before you know whats wrong.

Yes the piston in the cylinder with no compression is not moving. What all should I do?

You'll have to take the engine apart and see how much damage has been done. there is a link to the engine service manual in one of the sticky threads at the first part of the gas section. this will tell you how to take the engine apart. there are other manuals that will help with engine removal, ect....
