99 EZ Go Workhorse sputtering after 10-15 min.
Guys,
I had posted on here last week looking for help and received multiple ideas and made those changes and thought I had the problem fixed but it looks like not. Cart runs good for 10-15 minutes and then starts sputtering and backfiring as if missing or shortage of fuel. Compression shows 140 (cold) on both cylinders and valves have been checked. I changes all fuel hoses, fuel filter, spark plugs (had to use champion plugs as they did not have NGK). Could it possibly be due to fuel as it still appears it is starving for fuel and the newly installed fuel filter have very little fuel. Could the fuel pump be bad. Another thing to note is this thing is VERY hot after riding for 30-45 minutes or so. Is that normal as my other EZ Go gas did not seem to run that hot. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin Seth Adams Racing |

Did you check the fuel pulse line from the block for cracks. Check fuel pump output .... this is definitely related to your heat problem as leaning out the engine will make it run hot.
