seems to engage really hard 1991 marathon
i wanted to kno what kind of clutch this is because i was told it was out of some snomoble and it seems to engage really hard , i look to see if there was any kind of part #s but there doesnt appear to be any, this is 1991 marathon with the 350 4 stroke, im worried im going to destroy the rear end cuz it hits so hard, thanks for any info u guys might be able to help me with.

comet 102-c they can be a universal clutch and the parts are changed pretty easy.

The springs and swing ramp interchange with
Polaris p85 clutches. |

I believe that orange spring is 120-290 pound.

thanks for the responses, guys, so changing the orange spring to a softer spring will make it not hit as hard? and by doing that will it take away from any torque? and i did some research and couldnt find anything , what degree of clutch is this? and would i be better off just going to the 28 degree and taking this thing off? thanks for the help

28 degree is the helix angle in the driven clutch.
If you get a softer spring it will engage at a lower rpms and not hit as hard. It will lower running rpms and may affect torque. I wish people would put where they live in their profile. Are you near sldding country? |
